Poroshenko: Parliamentary-presidential form of govt to guarantee European choice of Ukraine

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has affirmed the expediency of a parliamentary-presidential form of government in Ukraine.

"The shift to a parliamentary-presidential form of government is a guarantee of the European choice of Ukraine," Poroshenko said at the first meeting of the Constitutional Commission in Kyiv on Monday.

Poroshenko said he had "enough powers" as president.
