Ukraine worsens net investment position by 3.7% in Q3 2016

Ukraine finished the third quarter of 2016 with negative net international investment position totaling $52.756 billion, and this is 3.7% more than the indicator for the end of the second quarter of 2016, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has said.

In January-September 2016 the indicator worsened by 1% compared to early 2016 (minus $52.232 billion).

In Q3 2016 assets fell by 0.1% compared to the previous quarter, to $123.667 billion, while liabilities grew by 0.9%, to $176.423 billion.
