Energy specialists are working to minimize electricity restrictions that have to be applied after massive attacks by the Russian Federation, but everyone must be prepared for the situation to worsen, Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk said.

"We will adjust the schedule, but it will change after each subsequent attack. We have prepared scenarios for responding to any event, including the most critical one. We must be prepared for the situation to worsen. It is very difficult to predict at this point. Try to predict what will be damaged and where the next attack will occur," Hrynchuk said during a briefing on Monday.

She noted that the restrictions are already easing after the November 8 attack, but the situation remains difficult due to weekly massive combined attacks involving missiles and a large number of drones that hit energy facilities "with great accuracy."

According to CEO of D.Trading Dmytro Sakharuk, some DTEK TPPs have recently been attacked with five to six ballistic missiles.

He noted that launching a large number of ballistic missiles has become a feature of the latest attacks on the energy sector and that strengthening air defense has therefore become especially important.

Following the massive attack by the Russian Federation on Saturday, November 8, the Trypilska and Zmiyivka TPPs of Centrenergo were completely shut down once again.
