Ukraine cuts gas consumption by 8.9% in Jan-Feb

Ukraine in January through February 2016 reduced gas consumption by 8.9% (by 913 million cubic meters) compared to the same period in 2014, to 9.331 billion cubic meters.

According to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, in particular, industry for the the two months reduced consumption by 15.9%, to 3.9 billion cubic meters.

Ukraine in 2015 cut gas consumption by 20.9% or 8.913 billion cubic meters, to 33.727 billion cubic meters.
