Naftogaz convenes meeting for Oct 22 over restructuring agreement on Ukrnafta's tax debt being revoked

National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy is to convene an interagency meeting on the revoking of the agreement to restructure the tax debt of public joint-stock company Ukrnafta, Naftogaz CEO Andriy Pasishnyk told Interfax-Ukraine.

"Naftogaz Ukrainy is alarmed at the news from the interview with Head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov on the revoking of the tax debt restructuring agreement with Ukrnafta and the possible failure of paying dividends to the budget by the end of this year. Naftogaz Ukrainy initiated the extended meeting with the participation of the State Fiscal Service, Finance Ministry, Ukrnafta, the SBU, and the profile parliamentary committee that will be held at 10:30 on October 22 at Naftogaz," he said.

Earlier, Nasirov in the interview with the Ekonomicheskaya Prava publication said that the agreement on debt restructuring with Ukrnafta was revoked as the company did not pay its September liabilities in full.

Naftogaz Ukrainy owns a 50% plus one share stake in Ukrnafta, a group of companies related to the shareholders of PrivatBank own about 42% of the shares.
