Tymoschuk returns to Zenit from Bayern

Bayern Munich midfielder Anatoliy Tymoschuk has signed a contract with Zenit St. Petersburg.

The contract with the 34-year-old midfielder was signed for two years and will come into force on July 1, 2013.

"After the triumphant season, I'm planning to tell you where I will continue my career. Despite proposals from various countries, I decided to link my future to the club, with which we earlier experienced a lot of happy moments. My contract comes into force on July 1, and I'll play for the next two years for Zenit St. Petersburg, with which I'm planning to achieve new victories," Tymoschuk's official Web site quoted him as saying.

The footballer played 67 matches for Zenit from 2007 to 2009 and scored ten goals.

Tymoschuk played 86 matches for Bayern and scored four goals.
