Ukraine fails to reach Futsal World Cup semifinals

Ukraine's national futsal team has failed to reach the semifinals of the 2012 Futsal World Cup in Thailand, losing 1-3 in the quarterfinals to Colombia.

If they had won through to the semifinals, Ukraine coach Hennadiy Lysenchuk's side would have played Brazil.

The FIFA Futsal World Cup is taking place in Thailand.
