Zelenskyy visits Kropyvnytskyi, holds meeting on protection of critical infrastructure, assistance to IDPs in region
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Kropyvnytskyi on Monday, where he held a meeting on the protection of critical infrastructure facilities in Kirovohrad region and assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs).
“Kropyvnytskyi. I held a meeting on the situation in the region. This is one of the regions that actively contributes to the country's survival, both economically and militarily. The region is also restoring the potential of its enterprises,” he said on his Telegram.
During the meeting, Zelenskyy discussed with representatives of the regional authorities issues of assistance to internally displaced persons.
“Nearly 90,000 of whom remained in the region. It is important to preserve and create jobs,” he said.
During the visit, the head of state also discussed issues of protecting critical infrastructure facilities in the region and strengthening air defense. In particular, the President noted the importance of building up electronic warfare systems.
