Zelenskyy thinking about replacing not only Zaluzhny, but also other leaders
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is thinking not only about replacing the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny, but also a number of other leaders.
"Zaluzhny? We need a reset, a change of leadership, not just a military one. This is a question that concerns the people who should lead Ukraine. A reset, a new beginning is definitely needed," he said in an interview with the Italian television company RAI, published on Sunday.
"When I speak of turnover, I have in mind something serious that does not concern a single person, but the direction of the country's leadership. When we talk about this, I mean the replacement of a number of government leaders, and not just in one sector, for example, in the army. I am thinking about this replacement, but we cannot say that we replaced one person here," he said.
Zelenskyy said that if Ukraine wants to win, then everyone needs to move in the same direction. "we cannot be discouraged, we must have the right and positive energy, negativity must be left at home... That's why I'm talking about a reset, a replacement. I have something serious on my mind, it's not about one person, it's about the direction of the leadership country," he said.
