US Congressman McCaul calls for starting training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16 aircraft now

Michael McCaul (Republican Party), Chief of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, is in favor of sending long-range ATACMS missiles and F-16 aircraft to Ukraine as soon as possible and starting training Ukrainian pilots on them.

At a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday evening, he said he has been critical of the administration's slow arms transfers, saying that it is too provocative to transfer certain types of weapons. McCaul also said as the military conflict has been going on for a year now, he would be a powerful voice to promote the transfer of ATACMS long-range weapons and F-16 aircraft.

At the Munich Security Conference, McCaul said he saw bipartisan support for these issues.

The U.S. congressman said he saw that the moment has come to accelerate the transfer of long-range weapons and F-16 aircraft and it is necessary to start training pilots now so that they are ready.
