Russia must to talk to us about stopping invasion - Zelensky
Russia will have to talk with Ukraine about the situation of the invasion, and the sooner, the less losses Russia will incur, President Volodymyr Zelensky has said.
"Russia will still have to speak to us sooner or later, start talks about how to stop hostilities and stop this invasion. The sooner the conversation starts, the fewer losses Russia will suffer," Zelensky said in a video message to the Ukrainian people on Friday morning.
He said that the sanctions imposed on Thursday by the U.S. and other countries has not convinced the Russian Federation to desist.
"Did yesterday’s sanctions convince Russia? We hear in our skies and see on our earth that this is not enough. Russian troops are active on our territory," Zelensky said.
