President Poroshenko prays for Ukraine in St. Sophia Cathedral

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko together with his wife Maryna and children, as well as representatives of the country's authorities prayed for Ukraine on Independence Day in the St. Sophia Cathedral in the center of Kyiv.

The prayer event "Prayer for Ukraine" was attended by Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov and Kyiv City Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the presidential press service reported.
