JFO HQ reports 1 KIA, 1 WIA amid 32 enemy attacks in Donbas in past 24 hours
Russia's hybrid military forces have mounted 32 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as killed in action (KIA) and another one as wounded in action (WIA), the press centre of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported.
"The enemy opened fire on the positions of our troops 32 times. Heavy weapons were not used ... Over the past day, one soldier of the JFO was killed and another one was injured during hostilities," the press center of JFO said in its update on Facebook on July 27, 2018.
In addition, it reported that Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire at the defenders of Krymske, Hirne, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Svitlodarsk, Pivdenne, Novhorodske, Pisky, Vodiane, Lebedynske, Hnutove, Chermalyk and Shyrokyne. The enemy also used anti-tank guided missiles near Hnutove.
"Since Friday midnight, Russian-led forces have mounted five attacks on the Ukrainian positions near Hirne, Mayorske, Maryinka and Shyrokyne," it says.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, two enemy troops were killed and another two were wounded.
