Strong army main indicator of Ukraine's security – Poroshenko
Strong and efficient army is the main indicator of Ukraine's security, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"Together with our partners, we are striving to build a new system of international security that was destroyed by the aggressive actions of the aggressor country, the Russian Federation. And for this it is necessary to create reliable protection of our sovereignty, our territorial integrity, our independence in a single Euro-Atlantic community of collective security," he said at the presentation of the photo exhibition "Heroes", dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation, at the National Museum of Ukrainian History in the World War II on Tuesday.
The president stressed that only a strong and efficient army is the main indicator of security.
"The development of the army is our commitment to the future generations of Ukrainians, this is our respect for the bright memory of those who died in the World War II and all the fighters for the Ukrainian state," Poroshenko noted.
