We demand end to illegal attacks on Ukrainian church in occupied Crimea

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko demands to stop the oppression of the church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate in the annexed Simferopol.

"We must protect our state, our citizens, and our faith, as well as protect the Ukrainian church, which was attacked in the occupied Crimea the other day. We are not going to put up with it, nor accept it. We demand to stop actions against the Ukrainian church," a statement reads distributed by the presidential press center on Saturday evening.
