Poroshenko instructs defense minister to increase additional payments to servicemen in ATO zone

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has ordered Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak to increase additional payments to military servicemen in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone.

"Today, I instructed the Minister of Defense to increase the additional payments to the servicemen on the contact line to UAH 6,000 and to the servicemen on the second line - to UAH 2,400," he said in Mariupol on Saturday, December 31.

He said that the financial incentives for Ukrainian military servicemen should be created.
