National unity, political consolidation key amid unremitting Russian aggression against Ukraine

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has stressed the importance of national unity and political consolidation in society.

"At the time when Russia's aggression against Ukraine is still ongoing, while military threat from the east is the most difficult strategic challenge, the issue of national unity and political consolidation is a matter of life and death for our country. This is, in fact, my main message to you today," the president said in his annual address to the parliament in Kyiv.
