Government sets terms for nodding draft government decisions through authorities from one to 30 days

Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has set the terms for nodding its draft decisions through the interested central executive power agencies from one day to 30 days, and then the decisions are considered approved.

"The clear terms for nodding draft cabinet resolutions through the interested central executive power agencies are set. The smallest term is one day for nodding through urgent documents and the largest term – one month," the press service of the government has reported, referring to Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleksandr Sayenko.

He said that the government also introduced the 'silence is consent' principle, if the interested agencies did not present remarks for the draft resolutions. The document is considered approved.

The procedure for hearing draft resolutions at government meetings and government committees in line with the quarterly schedules is introduced.

The government has revoked the necessity of nodding the draft resolutions through again if the head of the agency who took part in the preparation of the draft government resolution was replaced.
