NABU starts identifying persons in Party of Regions 'shadow costs' list – NABU head
The key element of the investigation in the case of the shadow costs of the Party of Regions would be sending requests for samples of handwriting of persons whose names are mentioned in the materials passed by former first deputy chief of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Viktor Trepak to detectives.
"Questioning of the claimant ends and the work to identify these persons will start. The main thing is to request samples of handwriting for conducting forensic tests," NABU Director Artem Sytnyk said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.
He said that Trepak handed almost 850 pages.
"A total of 841 pages covering the period from 2008 to 2012 were handed," he said, adding that the bureau would first work with the persons mentioned near the largest sums.
