European Commission's report on visa liberalization with Ukraine is final – Foreign Ministry of Ukraine
A report of the European Commission on the implementation by Ukraine of the Action Plan on Visa Liberalization (VLAP) with the EU by Ukraine is final and no additional reports will be published, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Olen Zerkal has said.
"All speculations with the interpretation of liabilities that Ukraine undertaken have nothing in common with the report. The report is official, and no additional reports will be published," she said at a press conference in Kyiv on Saturday.
Zerkal said that Kyiv and Brussels will continue working only in the regime of joint panels foreseen in the Association Agreement.
She said that after the publication of the report on Friday the European Commission is drawing up a legislative initiative that will be discussed by the committee consisting of ambassadors of all members of the EU.
"We're starting the new phase – the discussion with EU member states," she said.
