Crimea transformed into Russian military base – Poroshenko

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that Crimea has been transformed into a Russian military base in its confrontation with the West.

"Crimea was transformed into a base for military operations in Black Sea and Mediterranean region, in [Russia’s] global confrontation with the West," Poroshenko said while delivering a speech at the 12th Annual Meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) in Kyiv on Friday.
