Crimea's issue will be made relevant for global community
The Ukrainian government's Commissioner on Crimea Aslan Omer Kyrymly has said that the Crimea issue will become globally relevant.
"Lately, the topic of the peninsula's annexation became of second importance, sometimes it even disappeared from the agenda of international media, diplomats and politicians. The new position opens up possibilities for the actualization of the issues in front of global society. It's an important step towards the Crimean Tatar People by our government," Kyrymly said to a reporter of "Crimea. Realities" web-based media.
As reported, Kyrymly is now responsible for representing and establishing relations between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and international, inter-governmental and non-governmental organizations on Crimea,
On August 20, the government approved the draft decree on the creation of the position of the Government's Commissioner on Crimea.
