EU Foreign ministers to make statement on Crimea annexation anniversary
Ministers for Foreign Affairs of members of the European Union at a meeting on Monday, March 16, do not plan to discuss the situation in Ukraine.
A high-ranking European diplomat told Interfax-Ukraine that the ministers would not pass any official conclusions.
"Ukraine will not be discussed, but a statement on the first anniversary of the illegal annexation of Crimea will be made," the diplomat said.
The diplomat said that the ministers would again stress on the position that the European Union does not recognize the annexation of Crimea by Russia.
