Klimkin: Association Council to determine EU aid package for Ukraine
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin has noted the readiness of EU member states to help Ukraine in conducting reforms
Aid from the EU and individual EU member states is important for Ukraine's reforms. What I've heard is solidarity and readiness indeed. It was stated clearly – to use the EU and its countries to facilitate Ukraine's reforms and turn them into a success, Klimkin told journalists in Brussels after an informal meeting of the "Group of Ukraine's Friends" involving foreign ministers on Monday.
According to Klimkin, the EU is to determine what kind of aid will be needed, which sectors will need it, and the correct way to deliver it.
It's an issue for today's sitting of the Association Council, after which I want to add the efforts of individual EU member states to this program, the Ukrainian Minister said.
