Ukrzaliznytsia offers 1.4 mln seats in long-haul trains for winter holidays
The State Railway Administration of Ukraine, also known as Ukrzaliznytsia, will have almost 1.4 million seats available in long-distance trains from December 25, 2014 to January 13, 2015.
The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia reported that from December 25 to January 13 on average a total of 125 long-distance trains will run every day.
Today, 959,600 tickets are on offer, with the largest number of offers for Western Ukraine and to Odesa.
Ukrzaliznytsia has 334,200 seats for travel to the west, with more than 180,000 tickets still on offer. 26 trains on average per day will go to Western Ukraine.
The administration is also offering 177,000 tickets to passengers travelling to Odesa, with 128,000 tickets still on offer.
Ukrzaliznytsia will continue to analyze which routes are most popular with passengers, and will add additional trains and increase the frequency of travel accordingly.
