Ex-authorities of Ukraine suspected of organizing Crimea's annexation – deputy prosecutor general
Public prosecutor's agencies suspect former high officials of Ukraine of organizing Crimea's annexation, First Deputy Prosecutor General Mykola Holomsha has said.
"These very officials, who are suspects under a criminal case as organizers and co-authors of Crimea's annexation, are behind these events," he said at a press conference on Tuesday.
According to Holomsha, shortly before Crimea's annexation, the property of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) was carried to the peninsula, suggesting the ex-Ukrainian authorities could have been involved in organizing Crimea's annexation.
