Tymoshenko family reunited in Dnipropetrovsk

Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, her husband Oleksandr and daughter Yevhenia have been reunited in Dnipropetrovsk and visited the grave the former prime minister's father-in-law, Hennadiy Tymoshenko.

The whole family gathered in Dnipropetrovsk on Sunday at the house of Liudmyla Telehina, the mother of the ex-prime minister, sources close to Batkivschyna Party said. Tymoshenko's husband Oleksandr flew in to Dnipropetrovsk from Prague on Sunday.

On Monday morning Tymoshenko and her family visited the grave of Hennadiy Tymoshenko at one of central cemeteries in Dnipropetrovsk. The family is planning to return to Kyiv later today.

It was reported that while in prison Tymoshenko was not allowed to attend her father-in-law's funeral.

Oleksandr Tymoshenko has resided in the Czech Republic since January 2012 after obtaining asylum there. He repeatedly called for the immediate release of his wife under a ruling by the European Court of Human Rights.
