Parliament continues extraordinary session on Wednesday

An extraordinary session of the Ukrainian parliament opened on Wednesday, as lawmakers are continuing to search for a way out of the crisis in the country.

An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent said that 402 MPs had registered for the meeting.

Former Ukrainian Presidents Leonid Kravchuk and Leonid Kuchma are present in the session hall.

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak gave the floor to Kravchuk.
