Yanukovych replaces State Geological Service head

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed a decree appointing Roman Storozhev, who has served as deputy head of Nadra Ukrainy since May 2013, as head of the State Service for Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine.

Decree No. 697, dated December 20, 2013, has been posted on the official Web site of the head of state.

Prior to his work at Nadra Ukrainy, Storozhev served as president of the Gas Traders of Ukraine association.

The State Service for Geology and Mineral Resources forms and implements state policy in the field of exploration and rational use of mineral resources.
