Yanukovych sacks head of State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed a decree dismissing Mykola Pashkevych as head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine.

Decree No. 696/2013, dated December 20, 2013, has been posted on the official Web site of the head of state.

According to the document, Pashkevych was dismissed due to achieving the age limit for civil servants.

As reported, Pashkevych has headed State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving since June 2010.
