Tymoshenko hopes Ukraine has chance to sign Association Agreement with EU – ex-premier's daughter

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko hopes that Ukraine still has a chance to sign the Association Agreement with the EU, the ex-premier's daughter Yevhenia Tymoshenko has said.

"My mother believes in this and I think people also hope that we still have a chance," Tymoshenko told journalists outside Kharkiv-based Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 following a meeting with her mother.

Yevhenia Tymoshenko stressed that the people and the opposition have to fight for the signing of the agreement and protect the national interests.

"Both the Ukrainian people and the opposition have to rise up and fight for the national interests, fight for the fulfillment of obligations by the president and for the signing of the agreement. We still have a chance and we believe that this chance is realistic," Tymoshenko said.
