Yanukovych takes part in ceremony in honor of National Flag of Ukraine

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych took part in the ceremony of raising the national flag of Ukraine.

The ceremony took place in front of the presidential administration accompanied by the National Anthem of Ukraine performed by the orchestra of the presidential guard of honor.

According to the president's decree dated August 23, 2004, the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine is celebrated every year on August 23.
