Yanukovych to discuss bilateral cooperation, interaction within international organizations with Russian, Serbian, Moldovan presidents
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will discuss during bilateral meetings with the presidents of Russia, Serbia and Moldova on July 27 current issues of cooperation between the countries and further efficient interaction in the framework of international organizations, the Ukrainian president's press secretary, Daria Chepak, has said.
"The sides are expected to discuss the current agenda of bilateral relations and further cooperation in the framework of international organizations," Chepak told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
She noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin, Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti and Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic were to attend events in Kyiv marking the 1,025th anniversary of the Christianization of the Kyivan Rus.
"It is also expected that members of the official delegations of these countries will take part in a series of events that will he held in Kyiv as part of the celebration of the 1,025th anniversary of the Christianization," the Ukrainian president's press secretary added.
As reported, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry confirmed the participation of the three presidents in the festivities in Kyiv.
The primates of nine of the 15 local Orthodox churches, and the official delegations of the other six local churches will also take part in the events.
