Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has again refused to be transported to Kyiv to participate in a court hearing of the criminal case on the murder of Ukrainian parliamentarian Yevhen Scherban.

"Convict Tymoshenko has again refused transportation to Kyiv to participate in a court hearing," the press service of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine said on Thursday, March 7.

The prison service also said that Tymoshenko's behavior and position regarding her transportation had not changed. The convict gave no clear answer to questions whether she is ready to attend the court hearing, the prison service said. According to it, the transport and security guards were fully prepared to transport Tymoshenko from Kharkiv to Kyiv.

As reported, on March 7 the court will interrogate Batkivschyna parliamentary faction MP Oleksandra Kuzhel as a witness on the Scherban murder case.

In the Verkhovna Rada of the second convocation in 1994-1998 Kuzhel was a member of the Social Market Choice along with Scherban.
