Gas contracts with Russia should be reviewed this year, says Azarov

Gas contracts with Russia should be reviewed this year, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has said.

"We have to review this contract this year. I think that Russia has no doubts that we need to do this and we have no doubts," he said on the air of the Shuster Live talk show on March 1.

The prime minister expressed confidence that Ukraine would sooner or later succeed in agreeing with Russia on reducing gas prices.

In particular, the gas issue will be discussed during the visit of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to Moscow on March 4.
