Tymoshenko wants to meet with OSCE representatives, says her daughter

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has written an application to the leadership of the Kachanivska penal colony asking for a meeting with the head of the delegation of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Walburga Habsburg Douglas, and her colleagues, Yevhenia Tymoshenko, the ex-premier's daughter, has said.

"My mother wrote an application to the leadership of the Kachanivska colony asking for such a meeting in accordance with Article 110 of the Criminal Executive Code. She has one more meeting left, and it can be used," she told Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.

Earlier, deputy head of the State Penitentiary Service's office in Kharkiv region Andriy Lapinsky told reporters that Tymoshenko had used her right to have a short meeting this month. He also said that the permission for Tymoshenko to meet with Habsburg Douglas had been given as an exception, but then it had to be canceled because of the ex-prime minister's decision to go on hunger strike.
