Russia ready to accept any results of parliamentary elections in Ukraine, says ambassador

Russia is ready to accept any results of the parliamentary elections in Ukraine, Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov has said.

"Of course, Russia is ready to accept any choice of Ukraine, but one should also realize that Russia will react to any choice of Ukraine in the way it finds necessary, depending on its interests," he told journalists at the election headquarters of the Regions Party in Kyiv on Sunday.

He also said that on Sunday he visited several election headquarters of various political forces to get fuller understanding of the way in which the elections were organized.
