One-, two-, and five-kopiika coins will cease to be legal tender in Ukraine and will go out of circulation, according to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

NBU Governor Yakiv Smolii said at a briefing on Tuesday that these coins will go out of circulation, effective October 1, 2019.
