Ukrzaliznytsia annuls tender to buy 350 gondola cars due to lack of bids
Darnytsia wagon repair plant (Kyiv), a branch of public joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia, has annulled three tenders to buy 350 gondola cars with the expected cost of UAH 342.3 million. Less than two bids were submitted at the tenders.
According to the ProZorro portal, the tenders were announced on September 16 and the bids could be submitted until October 17, 2016.
On September 16, Darnytsia wagon repair plant announced eight tenders to buy 1,000 gondola cars worth UAH 978 million. The pre-qualification procedure is underway for the five tenders to buy 650 cars.
Two auctions to buy 150 gondola cars worth UAH 146.7 million and 200 cars worth UAH 195.6 million are scheduled for October 24, and the rest three auctions to buy 300 cars – for November 22, 2016.
The conditions of the tender include delivery of cars before December 31, 2016. The cars are to be made this year and delivered in batches of 50 cars.
Potential tender bidders asked the possibility of delivering 25 cars.
