ZTR sets 26% lower price at Ukrenergo's tender to buy nine transformer equipment units
Public joint-stock company Zaporizhtransformator (ZTR) at an auction of national energy company Ukrenergo held on October 13 made an offer to supply nine transformer equipment units (750 kV reactors) for UAH 225 million, which was 26.1% less than the expected cost.
According to an announcement at the ProZorro e-procurement system, Posco Daewoo Corporation (South Korea) took part in the tender. The company was ready to supply equipment for UAH 290.568 million.
The expected cost of equipment announced by Ukrenergo was UAH 304.623 million.
Along with the first auction held on October 13, it is planned to hold auction to supply three 750 kV autotransformers with the expected price of UAH 307.392 million, one 250 MVA 330 kV autotransformer with the price of UAH 76.925 million and six 200 MVA 330 kV autotransformers with the price of UAH 369.24 million.
The auction to supply six more 750 kV transformers at the expected price of UAH 392.318 million was annulled, as less than two bids were submitted.
The equipment is to be delivered before December 29, 2017.
