Only technical issues to solve in talks with IMF – Groysman

Only technical issues are left to solve in the negotiations of Ukraine with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said.

"We have carried out technical work with the IMF mission since May and decided what should be done and it was done. Now there are several technical issues linked to the terms that should be set for some measures in the future. We are working on this and there is an issue of cooperation with the National Bank. I think that in the near term the situation would be settled," Groysman said at a press conference in Brussels on Tuesday.

"As for the government, everything has been done regarding parliament – today all legislative acts have been passed," he said.

Groysman said that Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers observed all the required conditions for continuation of cooperation with the IMF. He said that no new legislation should be adopted as part of cooperation with the fund.
