Poroshenko expects Health Ministry to implement law on medicine registration quickly
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expects the Health ministry to submit bylaws that would allow implementing the amendments to the law on medicines with respect to state registration (re-registration) of medicinal products made and used in the countries with strong regulatory authorities.
"We set very restricted terms for Health Ministry to issue all bylaws and in a week," the president said on Friday during his visit to the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the Defense Ministry in Kyiv.
Poroshenko said that the implementation of the law would allow making a small, but important step to make medicines cheaper and more affordable.
The president recalled that "another important decision was made earlier when we ordered to buy medicines by international organizations that set special prices.
