Ukrzaliznytsia asking help from TCG in auditing assets in Donbas areas not under Kyiv control
Public joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia has approved a road map for organizing operations of regional branch Donetsk Railways and has asked Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to help in settling some issues during meetings of a working subgroup for social and economic issues of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG).
The Ukrzaliznytsia's press service reported that among the issues is audit of industrial processes of regional branch Donetsk Railways, including availability and readiness of property assets of its Donetsk and Luhansk directorates for railways, assessment of the technical readiness of assets located on territory that is not under control of the Ukrainian government and the provision of organization of transportation and expenses required for repair and restoration of assets, unhampered access of Ukrzaliznytsia's workers to infrastructure located on the contact line to repair it.
Ukrzaliznytsia said that the road map will be implemented in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine, its Anti-Terrorist Center and the State Border Service.
The company said that Donetsk and Luhansk directorates for railway transportation have been created as part of regional branch Donetsk Railways. Ukrzaliznytsia proposes employees of Donetsk Railways to work the regional branch.
