Trilateral gas talks may be held no earlier than April

Trilateral gas negotiation between Ukraine, the European Union and Russia may take place no earlier than April, Naftogaz Ukrainy Head Andriy Kobolev said in Kyiv on Friday.

"The talks are likely not to be held this month. We are waiting for the Gazprom's response. It is likely that it will be in April," he said.

Kobolev said that the European Commission has sent a letter with a proposal to hold a meeting with Ukraine and Russia, but Russia has not responded.

He said that Russia could be waiting for the reshuffling of the Ukrainian government.
