Naftogaz's consolidated net loss in 2015 shrinks to UAH 25 bln
Ukraine's Economic Development and Trade Ministry has announced that NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy saw a decrease in consolidated net loss in 2015 by 73%, or UAH 64.8 billion, to UAH 25 billion, according to rough estimates.
"Let me separately mention that NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy as a large state-owned company. Its consolidated net loss in 2015 is expected at UAH 25 billion against UAH 89 billion in 2014. The company's combined financial results improved by UAH 64.8 billion," First Deputy Minister Yulia Kovaliv said at a government meeting on Wednesday.
As reported earlier, Naftogaz brings together the largest oil and gas companies of the country. The holding is a monopolist in transit and storage of natural gas in underground gas storage facilities, as well as oil transportation by pipelines across the country.
