Ukrenergo sees 6.9% fall in power transmission via trunk power grids in Jan-Nov
National energy company Ukrenergo in January-November 2015 cut electricity transmission through the country's backbone and interstate power grids by 6.9%, or by 8.164 billion kWh, to 109.705 billion kWh, the company's press service has reported.
Over the period under review, the cost of the company's electricity transmission services grew by 69.7%, or by UAH 1.972 billion, to UAH 4.802 billion.
According to the report, in January-November 2015 the company increased capital investment by 44.2% (by UAH 843.023 million), to UAH 2.751 billion, but its general expenses fell by 4.9% (by UAH 105.077 million), to UAH 2.048 billion (in particular repair costs fell by 18.2%, to UAH 139.385 million).
Ukrenergo operates Ukraine's backbone and interstate power grid and supervises the country's national grid. It is a state-owned company and is controlled by the Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
