Ukrzaliznytsia does not ship cargo in Crimea
The State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) has said that it does not ship cargo on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea, and cargo is only shipped to the peninsula from Ukraine's mainland via checkpoints.
"Ukrzaliznytsia ships cargo only to the checkpoints on the border with the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine – Vadym station in Kherson region which is under the control of customs and border officers," Ukrzaliznytsia said in a statement published on Tuesday.
The press service said that private joint-stock company Crimea Titan has had another name since March 2015 – Ukrainian Chemical Products, and it is registered in Kyiv.
The "enterprise has its own approach way for wagons and uses its own locomotives to cross the administrative border after customs clearance and border control," reads the report.
The press service said that Ukrzaliznytsia adheres to Ukrainian law.
