Odesa port-side plant to sell ammonia, carbamide via electronic trading - UICE
PJSC Odesa port-side chemical plant has signed an agreement with the Ukrainian Interbank Currency Exchange (UICE, Kyiv) on organizing and conducting electronic auctions for the sale of ammonia and carbamide, the UICE press service has said.
"Participants in such auctions will be both resident companies of Ukraine and international players. These electronic auctions will allow us to create an open and transparent market for ammonia and carbamide with equal access for all participants which will eliminate corruption in this sector," reads the report issued by the press service.
The first electronic trading in ammonia and carbamide is scheduled to be held in late April.
"In addition, the UICE plans to launch futures and forward contracts for commercial products," reads the report.
As reported, state-owned Odesa port-side chemical plant is engaged in the production of chemical goods, as well as ammonia transshipment onto sea transport.
