Naftogaz posts UAH 18 bln net loss in 2013
National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy saw UAH 17.957 billion in net loss in 2013, while its net loss in 2012 amounted to UAH 31.466 billion, the holding said in an audited report conducted under international financial reporting standards (IFRS), which was published on March 27.
In 2013, Naftogaz Ukrainy net loss fell by 42.9% or UAH 13.509 billion compared to 2012.
According to the report, sales revenue reached UAH 75.899 billion in 2013 and UAH 105.038 billion in 2012.
A total of UAH 63.44 billion was received from wholesale and retail trade with natural gas in 2012; UAH 32.594 billion from gas transportation (including UAH 23.179 billion from international transit); UAH 6.578 billion from refining crude oil and gas condensate; UAH 1.23 billion from oil transportation; UAH 336 million from oil and gas condensate production; UAH 233 million from gas production, UAH 227 million from gas storage, and UAH 596 million of other revenue.
A total of UAH 36.447 billion was received from wholesale and retail trade with natural gas in 2012; UAH 30.315 billion from gas transportation (including UAH 22.732 billion from international transit); UAH 5.778 billion from refining crude oil and gas condensate; UAH 1.411 billion from oil transportation; UAH 510 million from oil and gas condensate production; UAH 446 million from gas production, UAH 443 million from gas storage, and UAH 549 million of other revenue.
Gross loss was UAH 1.283 billion in 2013 and UAH 7.475 billion in 2012.
Naftogaz Ukrainy unites oil and gas production assets in Ukraine, and is the country's gas transit, underground gas storage, and oil pipeline transportation monopoly.
