Ukrzaliznytsia to launch regional trains from Kyiv to Cherkasy, Kirovohrad

The State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) will launch two new regional train services that will run along the Cherkasy-Kyiv, Kirovohrad-Kyiv routes.

The services will be launched with a trial period to study passenger numbers, the Ukrzaliznytsia press service has reported.

Starting from March 29, train No.788/787 Kyiv-Cherkasy will run on odd numbered dates. It will depart from Kyiv at 0721, arriving in Cherkasy at 1115. It will then depart from Cherkasy at 1600, and will arrive in Kyiv at 2131.

The train will stop at Myronivka, Korsun, Horodysche and Tarasa Shevchenko Tsvitkove stations.

At present, transit train No.147/148 Kyiv-Odesa runs between Kyiv and Cherkasy.

Starting from March 30, train No.790/789 Kyiv-Kirovohrad will run on even numbered dates. It will depart from Kyiv at 0721, arriving in Kirovohrad at 1320. It will then depart from Kirovohrad at 1400, and will arrive in Kyiv at 2131.

The train will stop at Myronivka, Korsun, Horodysche, Tarasa Shevchenko Tsvitkove, Kamianka, Fundukliyivka, and Znamianka stations.

Currently, services between Kyiv and Kirovohrad are provided by train No.76 Kyiv-Kryvy Rih.
